User Terms of Service1. Service Overview
These terms govern your use of inbux's paid message delivery service. inbux is an anti-spam platform that helps recipients manage their attention by requiring payment from unknown senders. By paying, you respect the recipient's time and ensure your message is delivered. inbux offers two payment methods:
Payment via Email Payment Link
If you receive a payment request email from an inbux user, you can pay through the link provided. This grants you:
- Delivery of your current and future messages to the recipient
- A temporary protection period during which message delivery is maintained
Payment via Public Vanity Page
You can pay directly through an inbux user's public profile page (vanity URL). This grants you everything from email payment, PLUS:
- All benefits of email payment (message delivery, temporary protection period)
- In-app messaging privileges: Ability to send messages directly through the inbux platform
- Threaded conversation history accessible through the platform
Key Difference: Email payments provide message delivery only. Vanity page payments provide message delivery PLUS in-platform messaging capabilities.
Do I Need an inbux Account?
No, you do not need an inbux account to pay for message delivery. You can complete payment and send your message without creating an account. However, having an inbux account provides additional benefits:
- Messaging Interface: Access to the in-platform messaging system for ongoing correspondence with recipients
- Become a Receiver: If you have an account, you can also use inbux as a receiver to monetize your own attention
- Conversation History: Track your communications and payment history
Important Note for Non-Account Holders: If you're sending a paid message without an inbux account, make sure your message includes a clear call-to-action that doesn't require you to see a reply (such as a link to your website, booking calendar, or other contact method), since you won't have access to the in-platform messaging system.
2. What You're Purchasing
Your payment covers message delivery. For vanity page payments, you also receive in-platform messaging access. You are paying for the recipient's attention and guaranteed delivery, not a guaranteed response.
Important: Payment does not guarantee that the recipient will:
- Reply to your email or in-app messages
- Engage with your content or offer
- Take any specific action beyond receiving your communication
- Respond within any particular timeframe
Protection Period: After payment, you receive a temporary protection period during which your message delivery is maintained. The duration of this period is set by the recipient. After this period expires, your messages may return to the spam folder unless you make an additional payment.
3. Pricing & Payment
The pricing structure consists of:
- Recipient's Price: The amount set by the inbux user, which goes directly to them
- Transaction Fee: A small processing fee that covers payment processing and platform costs
- Total Amount: The sum of both charges, clearly displayed before payment
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By proceeding with payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service and authorize the charge to your payment method.
4. Email Delivery Process
After successful payment:
- Your email address is immediately added to the recipient's approved sender list
- Your paid message will be delivered to the recipient
5. Usage Guidelines
When using inbux's email delivery service, you agree to:
- Send legitimate, professional communications only
- Respect the recipient's time and attention
- Comply with all applicable laws including CAN-SPAM Act and anti-spam regulations
- Not send abusive, harassing, or inappropriate content
- Use the email address exactly as entered during payment
Abuse of the service may result in permanent blocking and forfeiture of payment without refund.
6. In-App Messaging (Vanity Page Payments Only)
If you paid through a user's vanity page, you gain access to send in-app messages through the inbux platform. When using this messaging feature, you agree to:
Messaging Conduct
- Professional Communication: Maintain professional, respectful communication at all times
- No Harassment: Do not send abusive, threatening, or harassing messages
- No Spam: Do not send excessive or repetitive messages
- Legitimate Purpose: Use messaging for genuine business or professional communication only
- Respect Boundaries: If the recipient does not respond or asks you to stop, respect their wishes
Messaging Limitations
- Messages are stored on inbux's platform and visible to both parties
- The recipient is not obligated to respond to your messages
- Your messaging access is tied to your payment status
- After your protection period expires, messaging access may be restricted unless you renew payment
- The recipient can block you at any time, which revokes your message delivery and messaging privileges
Content Restrictions
- No illegal content or solicitation of illegal activities
- No malware, phishing attempts, or security threats
- No explicit adult content or pornography
- No hate speech, discrimination, or harassment
- No impersonation of others or misrepresentation
Enforcement: Violation of messaging guidelines may result in immediate termination of messaging access, permanent blocking, and forfeiture of payment without refund. inbux reserves the right to review message content in response to abuse reports.
7. No Refund Policy
All payments are final and non-refundable. This policy exists because:
- Message delivery occurs immediately upon payment
- Messaging access (for vanity page payments) is granted immediately
- The recipient receives their portion of the payment immediately
- Technical services (whitelist addition, filter management) are provided instantly
- The value is in guaranteed delivery and access, not response rates
Even if the recipient does not respond to your email or messages, the paid services (message delivery, messaging access) have been successfully provided. Initiating chargebacks, payment disputes, or other challenges after successful service delivery will result in permanent blocking from all inbux services, including future payments to any inbux users.
8. Response Expectations
While inbux significantly increases the likelihood that your email will be seen and read, we explicitly do not guarantee:
- Any response from the recipient
- A positive or favorable response
- Response within any specific timeframe
- That the recipient will engage with your content or offer
Response rates vary significantly based on message quality, relevance, timing, and the recipient's availability and interest. Payment ensures delivery and visibility, not engagement.
9. Technical Limitations
Our service operates within the constraints of email systems:
- Delivery depends on the recipient's email provider and settings
- Very rarely, technical issues may delay filter updates
- The recipient maintains ultimate control over their email management
- Manual changes by the recipient may override our system
- In-app messaging availability depends on platform uptime
10. Privacy & Data Protection
We protect your privacy by:
- Using your email address solely for whitelist management
- Not reading or storing the content of emails you send
- Storing in-app messages securely for conversation history (vanity page payments only)
- Securely processing payment information through Stripe
- Not sharing your information with third parties (except as required for payment processing)
Your email address, message content, and payment information are handled according to our Privacy Policy.
11. Limitation of Liability
inbux's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service. We are not responsible for:
- Lost business opportunities due to lack of response
- The recipient's reaction to or handling of your email or messages
- Technical issues with email providers or messaging platform beyond our control
- Any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to the fee you paid for the specific service (email delivery and/or messaging access).
12. Service Modifications
We may update these terms or modify service features with reasonable notice. Continued use of the service after modifications constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware. Any legal proceedings will take place in Delaware courts.

By proceeding with payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Sender Terms of Service. You confirm that you are paying for inbox delivery service and, if applicable, messaging platform access. Payment does not guarantee response or engagement.
